Description

The Tilligerry National Park is a national park in the east of the Australian state of New South Wales , 147 km northeast of Sydney and about 28 km northeast of Newcastle. The park covers the north shore of Tilligerry Creek . There, the typical coastal landscape is protected with mangroves . North of the National Park is the larger Tilligerry State Conservation Area , a state protected area. In the East, at the tip of the peninsula, is the Tomaree National Park , in the north, at the Big Swan Bay , the Karuah National Park . The park, which belongs to Tilligerry Peninsula, one can koalas observed.
